Botanical Gardens I personally think is one of the better parks on the island. Everything is manicured and kept well at all times, which leads to having some of the best events. i.e. moonlight movies. Botanical Garden is also very safe to take evening walks.

Keeping Bermuda Beautiful

The Department of Parks is governed by the Bermuda National Parks Act. We are responsible for the maintenance and administration of outdoor recreational spaces on the island.

 

These areas are maintained to protect, enhance and regulate the natural and historic value of each for use by present and future generations, and to derive social and economic benefits. We are also responsible for providing trained and professional lifeguard services at public beaches and producing annual agricultural exhibitions, as well as planning and landscape maintenance. We protect and preserve open spaces and manage cultural and natural resources within Bermuda's national park system.

 

The Department of Parks is responsible for sports fields, playgrounds, snorkeling locations, campgrounds, playgrounds and much more.
